Antara ETP is currently recruiting a Legal and Compliance Staff to join our dynamic team. We are actively seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented professional with a robust background in law, regulations, and compliance management. Preference will be given to candidates who possess knowledge or experience in the money market domain.

Responsibilities

• Provide Compliance coverage for Antara ETP, including periodic and ad-hoc regulatory reporting, handling of inquiries from Bank Indonesia, and incident management
• Act as the liaison with Bank Indonesia, Financial Services Authority and other related agencies for the Compliance function supporting Antara ETP
• Implement and maintain Antara ETP Compliance Program, including drafting and updating all policies and procedures, keeping up to date with regulatory changes, performing risk assessments, and performing other Compliance-related work as appropriate
• Advise the business and control/support functions of the Antara ETP to ensure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements and standards
• Provide Compliance training to address employee needs and Compliance requirements to enhance employee awareness and knowledge of regulatory requirements and the sensitivities of working in a regulated entity
• Coordinate internal/external audits and regulatory inspections, including providing responses to regulatory inquiries and surveys which will include direct Indonesian regulatory interaction as well as potentially coordination and/or awareness with respect to Singapore or other regional regulatory expectations
• Implement necessary Compliance controls and monitoring tools to achieve a robust Compliance Program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law
• Having a minimal 1-year relevant experience in legal & compliance (for the financial sector or technology company is preferable)
• Fluent in both speaking and writing Bahasa Indonesia and English (mandatory). Strong writing and verbal skills are required
• Experience in legal/compliance matters on electronic trading platforms and/or financial markets
• Strong understanding of financial regulations (preferably in electronic trading platforms and/or related areas) in Indonesia
• Experience in communications with regulators and/or supporting responses to regulatory inquiries
• Experience in drafting policies, procedures and manuals as well as preparing reports for regulators and internal management
• Ability to work well in a diverse team with strong problem solving and communication skills in a fast paced and technology driven environment
