Job Descriptions:

• Conducting research and synthesizing the output generated into research products and area-specific products
• Analyzing data and concluding findings
• Developing questionnaires or other tools needed in research or other project implementations
• Writing research/other project reports
• Engaging with UKM Center stakeholders and actively communicating with certain contact persons regarding project needs
• Ensuring the transfer of specific knowledge to other researchers
• Creating training course content in his/her area of expertise
• Writing research overview/industry outlook/other publications for the UKM Center website and social media
• Acting as a project leader in UKM Center's main activities
• Acting as a mentor for junior researchers/staff and interns

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in economics, finance, public policy, or statistics
• 2+ years of research experience in relation to MSME, economics, public policy or other related fields
• Exposure to handling both qualitative and quantitative research
• Experience in leading small teams and managing projects
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently and in a team
• Excellent communication, presentation and organization skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
• Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and statistical software including Stata or R
