KarirLab is an early-stage startup incubated at Yale University searching for flexible go-getters who welcome the challenge of meeting the needs of a newly founded business.

We’re specifically looking for a Quality Assurance who will roll up their sleeves. You'll be working directly with a small core team of ex-top management consulting firms and Southeast Asian unicorns.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities with product team
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs report with the team
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products
• Understand the needs of a product to advise on and design testing strategies
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role
• Working knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assurance
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience in API Testing
• Experience with automation testing
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Good problem solving and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good customer focus
• Excellent attention to detail
