UMGG Program Trainee – Strategic Distribution

We are hiring a UMGG Program Trainee – Strategic Distribution to be part of our Universal Music Groove & Growth (UMGG) Program 2023.

This will be a 1-year program that creates an opportunity for budding talents to be groomed into future key pillars of the team. You will experience a tailor-made learning development journey and be fast-tracked towards managerial roles as early as within 3 or 4 years of your career with us.

About the role:

Account management and performance monitoring

  • Build excellent partnership and grow handled account(s)’ performance/business
  • Gathering and preparing performance & insight data from internal and/or external tools related to handled account(s)

Internal Coordination

  • Engage with Supply Chain (to regional & global team), Digital Ops team for product availability & campaign coordination

Third parties/external Coordination

  • Always open to get latest update on new developments regarding market, new tools/features that has influence to grow the business

Preparing presentation deck with commercial team

  • Data preparation towards related account performance
  • Data preparation related Marketing campaign impact performance
  • Gather and analyse market data for related account

Desirable Traits:

  • Music lover!
  • Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, Statistic or equivalent
  • Understanding about overall music market, especially Domestic
  • Undergraduate with less than a year after graduated or last semester in University
  • Understanding social media analytics is advantage
  • Mastering statistical programs/apps will be preferable
  • Understanding about music applications usage (Spotify, TikTok, Resso, Apple Music, Joox, etc)
  • Possess good analytical skills, problem solving, team player, entrepreneurship
  • Strong verbal and written English communications skills.
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment while meeting critical deadlines
  • Good organizational experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, plus the ability to quickly learn and work with the new systems and software

Interview process: Shortlisted candidates will go through rounds of interviews including video interview, aptitude test, case study assessments & face-to-face interviews.
